Disco Murder 03:31
Wrong impression Carry us away Dawn's crashing Lost in a world That's not it all Tin roses Johnny, too bad "Cause it's another disco MURDER HO HEAVE HO, HEAVE, and furthermore BLAH, BLAH, BLAH I lost everything I had I lost everything I had in a disco murder Disco Murder Disco Murder They thought it was real I thought it was ingrown But a disco hair follicle named Arthur burned up my happy home
2.
Regenicide 04:02
It continues to rain tears from Dachau sculpture Re-genicided beetle Neo Nazi spider Humanoids with plastic sheaths rock the back seat After dinner time for sleep Gotta be ready for the game gotta be ready for the game every morning I'm an open book I'm an open book The sun is up Sky is ominous blue They are waiting to see what the humans will do today Woe today Woe today What a day

Tried my mind at politics but it split my personality When I had not the phlegmticity to negate the proposition by unresponsive inaction They assumed that I was dumb They only gave me the choice of yes or maybe but I I kept coming up no Twenty four hours of televised shit beamed to me It's free they say They suck my brain everyday Oh what this country could do if it saved Oh could it be? Don't you have self respect Everybody self respect Gimme a 'D' discipline Gimme an 'I' security Pour it on go go groovy

Firenze 01:49
Not missing the congestion or the rushing to go Or the infinite commercialization of home Or the cheaper construction of a uniform box apartment dwellers pay so much to call home But the knowing conversation of a native friend's tongue over a deluxe cheeseburger and an American movie not dubbed in Italian an American injection of moderate dose could help me cope Oh just got into town today and Firenze don't seem too far away Oh pension no vacancy Firenze don't seem too far to me Oh Under a blue sky is surreal I can see you on your kitchen chair Opening mail, kneading a foot entranced stare Oh the bells of il Duomo peal today over rows of red tiled roofs You consider words at the letters' end "I'm in love with Firenze I wish I was with you" Oh just got into town today Firenze don't seem too far away Pension no vacancy Firenze don't seem too far to me Oh just got into town today without destruction
5.
Sexy 04:36
Part my mouth like you would part a velvet curtain and enter the next room for confession Walk to the door and touch the knob like you would touch my thigh And turn to open Talk to me in a voice like you would use to sing from a hymnal sweet and low Stroke my back like you would stroke the wings of an angel, 'cause that's what I am Now lay me down and I see Jesus and the 12 apostles smiling at me, as I receive communion (worship me) Place your hand on the cup and (worship thee) pull it to your lips like you would my body (self denial) Taste the drink (self indulge) (worship me) Draw me near like you would (worship thee) baptize me in river water (self denial) Make me pure (self indulge) Enter heavan I hear the choir, I hear the bells and I say Hallelujah Praise be to him I feel your skin, I smell your smell and I must confess I don't believe in sin But I believe in heavan I want it I want it to be good for you I want it I want it to be strong and true Just let me into your, Just let me into your I wanna go I wanna go I wanna get to heavan Mmm good girls go to heavan

Pretty people have sex in the movies forever get it on Strive to the climax and remember it's how you get there For we are not machines or sexual athletes though we strive to be, try hard to compete The bigger the better or so we believe without emotion the engine propulsion strive hard to nowhere See all (why can't you sleep?) Reveal all 'Cause it's the charm of simple subtlety You leave nothing for imagine (what are you afraid of?) Imagination Meteors in twilight Streaking lights through the sky The film was so bad: glowing walnuts in dub Meteors in twilight Streaking lights through the sky Pushing out from the dark inner womb of the Planet Theatre into the glaring Pain light of the day when the kids say Elvis is a wuss what happened to his legendary coolness? Don't bring me Down in the turn of the century there are no heroes No one to perform with and no one 'Cause X is for indifference X is for absentee X is for indiscreet Could it be there is no tomorrow? what I thought I heard you say Revelations, we'll leave nothing for future generations
7.
Molotov 02:33
Another Molotov cocktail bartender please for mother nature Let's go ahead and finish her off Sitting on arsenals "Failsafe" a modern thriller let's kill her I know not anything more obscene Not naked bodies drilling for oil So what (sacrifice) do you (submission) want (admissions of guilt) now? No time in the game the chosen ones will remain So get in line for the exodus I'll see you on Mars Colonization will now begin Cavity search then sterilization You will boldly go where no one would be dumb enough to you are your own enemy (Your skin may be green) but we want the same things (Know your transistor) minister for he will administer (Suppository) Will our heroes survive? Tune in next week and see.

about

BOB's final and biggest album in terms of intent: for arenas. BOB never knowingly performed in an arena. If they did, they kindly ask that any footage be left off the internet. Recorded by Jeff Bakos at Bakos Amp Works in 1998, "Pendulum" features Diana Obscura cello "Disco Murder", Harold (last name withheld due to: no one knows what his f***n last name is) Latin percussion "Meteors in Twilight" and Sicily Simpson, with her other-worldly backing vocals on several tracks.

about

BOB Atlanta, Georgia

BOB, the art-rock/postpunk/whatever band from Atlanta in the 1990's, was one of the great underrated gems of our time, check out my previous BOB posts... It was great that they were so prolific and provided us with so much material to digest....- James Joyce from the Beyond Failure blogspot. Here's the link for an interview and more about BOB:
