Doublewide 04:03
Hey you listen to this truth Soul sister love makes you laugh and smile Visit your best friend if you feel a little down She'll bring you 'round Best friend soul sister sister's one with you Sharing the lessons that help each other through They really do Cool girls out to have some fun Visions of pearl (...one) lots of fun Visions of pearl Hey take it today Green means just what it seems to say You and for me, too Now for we know windows all close No blood goes to hands Cold as aluminum soft drink cans Following a path of least resistance

Big 03:16
Powerful people don't have to speak loud to be heard It's the weaker ones who thrust their fists in revolution 'Cause when you don't give a shit about yourself you don't give a shit about anyone else It's safer that way 'Cause when you do start to care that's when you've got something to lose In and under glow of the lampposts all around the world the last chance for peaceful resolution in a word Exposure You can't change the past can't be changed but from it can be learned Lay down tradition open your mind religion will soon be absurd Allah

Do Do Do 02:33
Jesus dreamed he walking alone in New York City 3:15 all is dark All is sleeping factories Feeling paranoid Hearing footfalls and his breathing Jesus spies a public phone Calls home Lives alone Check his machine "Hello" a voice answers instantly familiar It is you is it God? Come to collect U- tility poles are cacti in moonlight Buffalo clouds roam the sky An ominous cloud stalled over Billings on a Saturday night You look interstellar, but we've been here amongst you Pantalone de Angelo a cool de tah Man is God Surprise!
5.
Thirsty 04:54
These are these are things I things I think you should never have to drink These are these are things I think you should never have to think Not gonna tell you that Yesterday I saw your face water running from your eye I was too young to imagine then a two-faced world a shiny gold tooth housed in a rapist mouth with an illusion many seek Security Still won't tell you about These are these are things I things I think you should never have to drink And these are these are things I think you should never have to think Yeah, 2, 3, 4

Chronozone 04:16
Zucker How low we have come Survival? No, decay. The Chronozone Momentum like train Can not stop Hour after hour after hour Racing goes the land No destination, no reward No reward to sell you, to offer What become of thee? A modern tragedy Thou have doneth things that shan't be named Asked to recollect as if thou were in death What hath thou done with life? Thou doesn't know! Surely you have something you can show? No, we have nothing Farmer has some earth from which to sow We are drones, we deserve nothing So it be.... Once you get Gone That's all you get Gone (think you're lots of fun) What you get (get outta here) is nothingness (you're scaring me!)

Hear this tune I can sign my name but it's not mine to claim I merely borrow it to use while I exist Hope it makes you dream of bliss and happiness of intimate contact with you and a love that made you lust made you live Hear my voice I'll take you back to it No other love ever made me feel like this Stopping in mid sentence to ask what of this Waking up and caffeinating Rushing out the door I want more I know where I am headed Where I wanna be Hope that when I get there It lives up to my dreams
9.
Rivulets of rain on deep night black top Winter chill seeps through every crack What is so serene about the motion of streams that makes me feel as one with all of you? Standing behind the pane we see the tin cans Dormant neatly parked in silent rows 'til one of us a faceless stealthy sihlouette Gets in the lamps come on a tin can rolls do---- Billows of smoke that rise to godless heavans Are dreams that once were thick, now taper off Queues are sluggish on a gray watery morning Stopping at the tolls then pulsing in To bring to life the jewel New York City You look down at your feet Isee the whole Spec- trum do---- not open until Christmas

about

Recorded 1997 at Bakos Amp Works by Jeff Bakos. Art by Frank "Heinous Bienfang" Dreyer, photos by Laine Harris and GiGi Tindle. Mastered with Rodney Mills. BOB's 3rd album marked a dramatic departure from their earlier work. Life had intervened. Ray was re-locating to New Orleans. With Katt Gass playing bass, sax and singing, the new BOB sound was groovy strange indie dance music. Their first live gig was appropriately at the Masquerade dressed up as clowns doing "I was made for loving you" during a Kiss cover night, at which a naked Heinous Bienfang broke his foot falling from a beam above the stage. Katt enlisted her brother Ward and friend GiGi as the BOB dancers. The mere fact that BOB had dancers should have been a red flag! Just kidding! After the intensity and tension of "Rounded at the Free End", "Sonic Hedges" was like a shot of 100% blue agave tequila. The cover is an agave plant.

about

BOB Atlanta, Georgia

BOB, the art-rock/postpunk/whatever band from Atlanta in the 1990's, was one of the great underrated gems of our time, check out my previous BOB posts... It was great that they were so prolific and provided us with so much material to digest....- James Joyce from the Beyond Failure blogspot. Here's the link for an interview and more about BOB:
